What we do...
We generally sing ‘popular’ songs in harmony.
Most of our members started with little or no singing experience.
The sessions are really relaxed and fun.
There are no auditions and no one has to sing on their own!
You don't need to be able to read music. You just need a love of music, singing and being part of a group.
Where & When...
We meet at the Stratford St Mary Institute Hall every Thursday between 7.15 - 8.45 pm. The Institute is a great space with plenty of parking. It’s easily accessible from Colchester, Ipswich and surrounding villages, just off the A12. You are welcome to arrive at 7pm if you fancy a cuppa and a chat before we start at 7.15. We may also frequent the nearby pubs afterwards too.

Choir Sessions and Prices
If you’d like to give us a try your first session is absolutely FREE!
Choir Sessions thereafter are just £6.
(paid in blocks of 5,6 or 7 weeks).
The blocks fall roughly in line with school half terms. We will not break for half terms but will have 2 weeks off at Christmas, Easter and a month or so off in the Summer. I realise that members do not want to pay for sessions missed due to holidays, so everyone can use up to 3 ‘Holiday Weeks’ over 12 months. Please let me know in advance, before you pay for a block if you would like to use a ‘Holiday Week’.
